Wedding Flowers

Wedding Flowers

My Season Favourites

The nights are starting to draw in and the chill of Autumn is in the air. I am coming to the end of another fantastic wedding season.  To bring back the memories of summer, I thought I should re visit my favourite Wedding Flowers of the 2015 wedding season. Planning a wedding takes months, sometimes years. Plenty of thought is given to the big things like the venue and the dress, but also, just as important, are the little things, the details, THE FLOWERS! As a wedding photographer, the details are a great part of the story of the day, and when it comes to designing a beautiful wedding album, the details are what brings it all together.

I am a girly girl when it comes to the little details, I really love the individuality that they bring to each wedding. A huge part of this is the Wedding Flowers, be it the table centre pieces or the church decorations, every detail matters. This season I have seen some fantastic Wedding Flowers. From rainbows of wild flowers to sweet smelling bouquets, i’ve really have seen some beautiful creations.

I wanted to share with you a selection of my most loved bridal arrangements. I am sure you will agree, they are breath taking. I hope this blog gives you some inspiration for your 2016 wedding plans. I am taking bookings now for 2016/17, so please get in touch to chat about your wedding photography. I look forward to hearing what your flowers and details will be too.

My style of photography is very unobtrusive, I work in a relaxed and contemporary way. My photographs are reportage style and nothing too formal. I believe it is important to let the day happen naturally and be there to capture those special moments as they unfold.

Charlotte & Ben’s Hockering Hall Wedding

A wonderful day was had by all. Charlotte and Ben got married at Hockering house in Norfolk. The day was filled with laughter and tears. They had the cutest flower girls. The cake was blueberry and white chocolate, and to top it off, we were drenched in golden evening sunlight.Take a look at this little taster.

Jo & Paul

In less than a month I will be jetting off to Portafino in Italy for the wedding of Jo and Paul. It promises to be a stunning occasion.

Jo & Paul are both so much fun to photograph. Here’s a taster of the fun we had in the sun last weekend at Forncett St Peter where they live.

Les & Cathy’s wedding- Southwood Hall

This weekend, the sun made a welcome appearance. I spent this sunny Sunday with the lovely Cathy and Les celebrating their wedding at the stunning Southwood Hall in Norfolk. A stark contrast to thier wintery engagement shoot a few weeks ago, the weather allowed us to make the most of the beautiful grounds surrounding this perfect venue.

Heres a little sneaky look at their amazing day.

Emma And Jack

This weekend I was privileged to shoot alongside the lovely Jamie Groom.  We spent a wonderful day at Albion Days in Gt Melton Norfolk.  We enjoyed a truly relaxed blessing with Emma and Jack and their family and friends. The wigwam tents in the apple orchard of The old Rectory were a perfect setting for everyone to chill out as night fell and the fire pits blazed. A truly amazing venue, a truly blessed couple.

We found some poppies

This evening the sun started to poke its head out, so I grabbed my new camera and the kids and headed off  to the nearest poppy field (actually a poppy verge) for a little photo shoot before tea.

Oilseed Rape

The weather of late has been wet, cold and generally horrible. So today on my way out to photograph baby Rohan, i took the opportunity to grab some shots in the sunshine. Norfolk is alive with a yellow patchwork of Oilseed Rape fields, I couldn’t resist.
